This website is fully compatible with GeForce Now. Open the Steam in-game browser (press Shift + Tab by default) and navigate to poe2helper.com.
For now, this service is designed for use on PC only, including GeForce Now. We plan to add console support in the future, but it will take some time.
1. Copy the item description
Found an item (or decided to sell an old one)? → Hover over it in the game and press Ctrl+C.
2. Go to the website
Open the Price Check tab. There, choose:
1. the league you’re playing in
2. the trade type (in-person or the new instant buyout system or both)
3. the time period
3. Paste the item description
Press Ctrl+V in the text field. The site will automatically recognize the item and display its stats.
Unfortunately, there’s no reliable way to determine how many runes or talismans an item has based solely on its in-game description. Therefore, we decided to use a half-empty, half-filled icon to represent this uncertainty.
4. Adjust attributes (optional)
Usually, the default settings are good enough. If needed, you can tweak the Strictness parameter.
• Stricter values → more precise matches.
• Looser values → wider range of results.
For example, if your item has 50 DPS, the site might search for items in the range of 45–55, 40–60, or 30–60. You can also disable or edit individual stats manually.
Poe 2 Helper follows the same calculation logic as the official trade website. DPS, armour, evasion, and energy shield values are calculated based on an item’s 20% quality. Corruption effects on items with less than 20% quality are not taken into account. This approach ensures consistency with the original trade site and provides more predictable search results.
5. Adjust modifiers
You can enable or disable desirable modifiers in the modifiers section, or adjust their values. Some modifiers are combined into pseudo-modifiers or count groups to broaden the search results.
This list is not exhaustive, as it may be updated or changed at any time, but generally includes:
• Elemental resistances
• Attributes (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence)
• Elemental damage
• Damage “as extra damage”
• Maximum resistances
Some modifiers are automatically disabled and placed in the Junk group. If you consider a particular modifier important for search results, feel free to enable the group and customize the modifiers list to your preference.
Local modifiers — those that increase an item’s base attributes (evasion, energy shield, physical damage, etc.) — are also placed in this group, as their effects are already reflected in the item’s attributes.
6. View the results
1. Click Search.
2. After a few seconds, a list of items will appear below.
• The list is sorted by price — the cheapest similar items are at the top. However, the sorting is done by the PoE2 Trade website, not this site.
3. Compare them to yours and decide how much to list your item for.
7. New search
To check the next item, click Clear and repeat the process. For convenience, you can use the special buttons on the right to scroll the list up, or to scroll up and clear the input automatically. After clearing, the input field is automatically focused, so you can immediately paste a new description.
• The orange button opens the results on the official trade site. This can be useful if you want to take advantage of the original trade site’s features.
• There’s also a button above the results list that lets you view the current search results directly on the trade site.
• Enabling the Auto Search checkbox will start the search automatically after you paste the description.
• The Advanced Mode checkbox lets you set your POESESSID value to bypass certain search complexity limitations.
The site has a Report Bug button. If something wasn’t recognized correctly or you notice an error, click it and write a few words.
That’s it — good luck with trading!
